Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.14% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 40.46% or 1.62 points to trade at 5.61 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) added 2.34% or 1.90 points to end at 83.30 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) was up 2.17% or 0.53 points to 24.95 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which lost 1.64% or 7.10 points to trade at 426.60 in late trade. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) declined 1.27% or 3.50 points to end at 272.70 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) shed 1.08% or 14.50 points to 1,322.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 415 to 349 and 65 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.73% or 1.69 to $63.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.43% or 1.58 to hit $66.54 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.03% or 33.10 to trade at $3,261.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.03% to 10.87, while USD/SEK fell 0.80% to 9.73.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.65% at 100.93.
