Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which rose 2.33% or 1.00 points to trade at 45.60 at the close. SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 1.44% or 5.90 points to end at 411.60 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 1.29% or 4.70 points to 370.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa), which lost 2.30% or 4.10 points to trade at 174.20 in late trade. Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) declined 1.97% or 3.10 points to end at 154.00 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) shed 1.76% or 2.10 points to 114.60.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 387 to 353 and 86 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.98% or 0.66 to $66.71 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.82% or 0.58 to hit $70.49 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.27% or 38.30 to trade at $3,044.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.17% to 10.99, while USD/SEK fell 0.38% to 10.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 102.91.
