Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Petrochemicals and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.86%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were SABB Takaful (SE:8080), which rose 9.26% or 4.17 points to trade at 49.20 at the close. Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100) added 6.27% or 1.54 points to end at 26.10 and AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) was up 5.52% or 1.37 points to 26.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150), which lost 4.51% or 1.60 points to trade at 33.90 in late trade. Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) declined 4.13% or 2.51 points to end at 58.25 and National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) shed 2.81% or 2.24 points to 77.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 125 to 39 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.72% or 1.04 to $59.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.35% or 0.88 to hit $63.77 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.16% or 1.90 to trade at $1181.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.35% to 4.2115, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 95.42.
