Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Transport and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.69%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were City Cement Co (SE:3003), which rose 5.44% or 0.80 points to trade at 15.50 at the close. United Wire Factories Company (SE:1301) added 3.60% or 1.00 points to end at 28.80 and Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) was up 3.33% or 0.60 points to 18.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020), which lost 4.20% or 1.20 points to trade at 27.40 in late trade. Halwani Bros (SE:6001) declined 4.07% or 2.50 points to end at 59.00 and Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) shed 3.72% or 0.55 points to 14.25.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 131 to 31 and 7 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.02% or 0.44 to $42.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $44.92 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1327.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.03% to 4.1213, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7515.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.11% at 97.17.
