Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Transport and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 5.32% or 3.40 points to trade at 67.30 at the close. Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) added 3.34% or 0.85 points to end at 26.30 and Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060) was up 3.05% or 1.30 points to 43.95 in late trade.
Biggest losers included National Medical Care Company (SE:4005), which lost 6.42% or 2.95 points to trade at 43.00 in late trade. Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030) declined 4.64% or 1.60 points to end at 32.90 and Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) shed 4.02% or 0.78 points to 18.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 113 to 59 and 9 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.12% or 0.06 to $48.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.10% or 0.05 to hit $50.92 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.06% or 13.27 to trade at $1262.67 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.33% to 4.3860, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 93.59.
