Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Retail and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.08% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which rose 6.36% or 1.05 points to trade at 17.55 at the close. Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company (SE:8012) added 5.78% or 1.70 points to end at 31.10 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) was up 5.63% or 0.200 points to 3.750 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Marke (SE:4006), which lost 2.07% or 0.60 points to trade at 28.40 in late trade. Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810) declined 1.83% or 0.60 points to end at 32.20 and Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) shed 1.52% or 0.30 points to 19.45.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 77 to 73 and 21 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.31% or 0.17 to $54.18 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.37% or 0.21 to hit $56.72 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.91% or 11.45 to trade at $1242.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.41% to 3.9499, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 101.81.
