Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Media & Publishing and Telecoms & IT sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.99% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co (TADAWUL:2081), which rose 4.48% or 7.00 points to trade at 163.20 at the close. Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:2300) added 2.65% or 1.70 points to end at 65.90 and Banan Real Estate Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4324) was up 2.56% or 0.17 points to 6.82 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Mobile Telecommunications Company (TADAWUL:7030), which lost 4.57% or 0.52 points to trade at 10.86 in late trade. Saudi Industrial Investment Group (TADAWUL:2250) declined 4.13% or 0.72 points to end at 16.70 and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (TADAWUL:1214) shed 3.88% or 1.20 points to 29.75.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 214 to 108 and 17 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.09% or 0.75 to $69.37 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.08% or 0.78 to hit $72.85 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.11% or 32.54 to trade at $2,898.06 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.08% to 3.93, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 106.54.
