Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Insurance, Energy & Utilities and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.83%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240), which rose 9.83% or 1.04 points to trade at 11.62 at the close. Herfy Food Services Co (TADAWUL:6002) added 9.82% or 2.50 points to end at 27.95 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) was up 8.33% or 0.03 points to 0.39 in late trade.
Biggest losers included United Wire Factories Company (TADAWUL:1301), which lost 5.13% or 1.55 points to trade at 28.65 in late trade. Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:4170) declined 4.67% or 0.05 points to end at 1.02 and Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230) shed 4.64% or 3.00 points to 61.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 200 to 92 and 14 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.41% or 0.30 to $73.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.45% or 0.35 to hit $76.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.80 to trade at $2,637.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.13% to 4.11, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 102.46.
