Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Retail and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.54%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030), which rose 4.55% or 1.70 points to trade at 39.10 at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) added 4.41% or 0.150 points to end at 3.550 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) was up 4.13% or 1.30 points to 32.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which lost 2.96% or 0.80 points to trade at 26.20 in late trade. Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (SE:2070) declined 2.59% or 1.00 points to end at 37.60 and Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) shed 2.25% or 1.00 points to 43.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 95 to 52 and 23 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.67% or 0.36 to $53.50 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.78% or 0.44 to hit $56.26 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 6.40 to trade at $1229.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.08% to 3.9870, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7515.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 100.81.
