Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Multi Investment, Energy & Utilities and Retail sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331), which rose 5.26% or 0.92 points to trade at 18.42 at the close. Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) added 5.26% or 1.75 points to end at 35.00 and Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120) was up 3.71% or 0.42 points to 11.74 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Anb Insurance (SE:8011), which lost 3.50% or 0.70 points to trade at 19.30 in late trade. Red Sea Housing Services Company (SE:4230) declined 3.01% or 0.62 points to end at 19.98 and Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061) shed 2.88% or 0.46 points to 15.54.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 86 to 78 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.66% or 0.76 to $46.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.72% or 0.83 to hit $48.98 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 4.32 to trade at $1267.08 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.16% to 4.2062, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 97.15.
