Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Retail and Financial Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200), which rose 9.69% or 2.50 points to trade at 28.30 at the close. The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8030) added 4.75% or 1.45 points to end at 32.00 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) was up 4.36% or 1.20 points to 28.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (TADAWUL:2120), which lost 6.32% or 2.80 points to trade at 41.50 in late trade. National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:4005) declined 4.87% or 10.80 points to end at 211.00 and AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (TADAWUL:2320) shed 3.86% or 1.45 points to 36.10.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 182 to 108 and 20 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.53% or 0.44 to $82.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.40% or 0.35 to hit $86.19 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.74% or 17.65 to trade at $2,380.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.03% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 104.50.
