Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Building & Construction and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.02%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250), which rose 10.00% or 1.94 points to trade at 21.34 at the close. Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) added 9.82% or 4.90 points to end at 54.80 and Food Products Co. (SE:2100) was up 9.66% or 1.26 points to 14.30 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Electrical Industries Co (SE:1303), which lost 9.43% or 2.02 points to trade at 19.40 in late trade. Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (SE:4004) declined 6.68% or 5.30 points to end at 74.10 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:4130) shed 5.56% or 0.98 points to 16.66.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 90 to 80 and 14 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.23% or 1.53 to $70.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.95% or 0.71 to hit $75.47 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.20 to trade at $1221.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.31% to 4.3854, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7502.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 94.24.
