Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS), which rose 2.93% or 0.40 points to trade at 14.05 at the close. Nel ASA (OL:NEL) added 2.45% or 0.06 points to end at 2.42 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) was up 1.45% or 24.50 points to 1,712.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Var Energi ASA (OL:VAR), which lost 2.81% or 0.84 points to trade at 29.10 in late trade. TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) declined 2.78% or 2.35 points to end at 82.30 and Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) shed 2.42% or 3.00 points to 120.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 190 to 92 and 17 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.34% or 0.21 to $61.76 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.38% or 0.25 to hit $65.16 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.55% or 49.56 to trade at $3,236.86 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.33% to 11.60, while USD/NOK fell 0.57% to 10.30.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.79% at 100.15.
