Trump slaps 30% tariffs on EU, Mexico
Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO), which rose 4.00% or 3.40 points to trade at 88.35 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKRBP) added 3.87% or 9.10 points to end at 244.10 and Nel ASA (OL:NEL) was up 2.75% or 0.06 points to 2.24 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM), which lost 1.57% or 2.40 points to trade at 150.00 in late trade. Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) declined 1.44% or 1.80 points to end at 123.30 and Mowi ASA (OL:MOWI) shed 1.36% or 2.60 points to 188.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 151 to 130 and 20 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 3.44% or 2.09 to $62.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 3.30% or 2.07 to hit $64.85 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 2.56% or 84.90 to trade at $3,400.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.22% to 11.53, while USD/NOK fell 1.20% to 10.08.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.62% at 98.64.
