Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Invest Companies & Other Finance, Oil & Gas and Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Lesieur Cristal (CSE:LES), which rose 9.09% or 25.00 points to trade at 300.00 at the close. Les Eaux Minerales Oulmes SA (CSE:OUL) added 5.95% or 75.00 points to end at 1,336.00 and S2M (CSE:S2M) was up 5.33% or 8.95 points to 176.95 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Societe Equipement Domestique et Menager SA (CSE:EQD), which lost 9.96% or 117.00 points to trade at 1,058.00 in late trade. Salafin (CSE:SLF) declined 9.94% or 58.60 points to end at 531.00 and Maghreb Oxygene (CSE:MOX) shed 5.12% or 11.00 points to 204.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 30 to 25 and 6 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.53% or 0.43 to $81.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.46% or 0.39 to hit $84.87 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 1.30 to trade at $2,335.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.21% to 10.66, while USD/MAD rose 0.12% to 9.95.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 105.55.
