Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Biomed, Real Estate and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.79%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which rose 0.98% or 260.00 points to trade at 26,900.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 0.56% or 100.00 points to end at 17,890.00 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was up 0.55% or 28.00 points to 5,100.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which lost 3.89% or 242.00 points to trade at 5,973.00 in late trade. Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) declined 3.43% or 7,500.00 points to end at 211,000.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) shed 3.32% or 98.00 points to 2,850.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 309 to 144 and 85 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.81% or 1.27 to $71.29 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.47% or 1.08 to hit $74.49 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.24% or 33.60 to trade at $2,675.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.56% to 3.60, while EUR/ILS rose 1.07% to 3.78.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 106.68.
