European banks set to underperform U.S. peers in second quarter, Citi says
Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Biomed sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 6.00% or 9,150.00 points to trade at 161,690.00 at the close. Navitas Petroleum LP Unit (TASE:NVPTp) added 5.50% or 541.00 points to end at 10,370.00 and Dimri (TASE:DIMRI) was up 4.02% or 1,210.00 points to 31,320.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which lost 4.27% or 2,650.00 points to trade at 59,460.00 in late trade. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 3.00% or 430.00 points to end at 13,910.00 and Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) shed 1.56% or 410.00 points to 25,900.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 255 to 195 and 89 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 7.26% or 4.94 to $72.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 7.02% or 4.87 to hit $74.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.48% or 50.40 to trade at $3,452.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.86% to 3.62, while EUR/ILS rose 1.58% to 4.18.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 98.18.
