Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 0.98% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Dua Putra Utama Makmur PT (JK:DPUM), which rose 34.62% or 18.00 points to trade at 70.00 at the close. Natura City Developments Tbk PT (JK:CITY) added 33.61% or 40.00 points to end at 159.00 and Perma Plasindo Tbk PT (JK:BINO) was up 25.27% or 46.00 points to 228.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Satu Visi Putra PT Tbk (JK:VISI), which lost 24.84% or 78.00 points to trade at 236.00 in late trade. Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:ADRO) declined 23.19% or 640.00 points to end at 2,120.00 and Pt Topindo Solusi Komunika (JK:TOSK) shed 19.81% or 21.00 points to 85.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 428 to 182 and 227 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.10% or 0.07 to $68.79 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.40% or 0.29 to hit $72.49 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 16.50 to trade at $2,681.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.06% to 15,855.10, while AUD/IDR rose 0.23% to 10,325.33.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 105.89.
