FTSE 100 today: Index slides, pound slips to $1.35, GDP figures disappoint
Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Informasi Teknologi Indonesia Tbk (JK:JATI), which rose 34.58% or 37.00 points to trade at 144.00 at the close. Krakatau Steel Persero Tbk (JK:KRAS) added 34.56% or 47.00 points to end at 183.00 and Era Mandiri Cemerlang Tbk PT (JK:IKAN) was up 34.48% or 20.00 points to 78.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Capitalinc Investment Tbk (JK:MTFN), which lost 25.00% or 1.00 points to trade at 3.00 in late trade. MPX Logistics International Tbk PT (JK:MPXL) declined 14.81% or 24.00 points to end at 138.00 and Mitra Energi Persada Tbk PT (JK:KOPI) shed 14.71% or 100.00 points to 580.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 332 to 290 and 224 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.09% or 0.74 to $67.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.19% or 0.83 to hit $68.94 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.06% or 35.52 to trade at $3,379.22 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.02% to 16,230.20, while AUD/IDR fell 0.46% to 10,522.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 98.29.
