Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.75%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Siantar Top Tbk (JK:STTP), which rose 395.45% or 8,700.00 points to trade at 10,900.00 at the close. Multi Bintang Indonesia Tbk (JK:MLBI) unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to end at 5,850.00 and Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (JK:AALI) was up 243.55% or 3,775.00 points to 5,325.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pan Brothers Tbk (JK:PBRX), which lost 99.82% or 8,684.00 points to trade at 16.00 in late trade. Express Transindo Utama Tbk (JK:TAXI) declined 99.64% or 558.00 points to end at 2.00 and Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK) shed 98.40% or 123.00 points to 2.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 334 to 313 and 177 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.49% or 0.40 to $81.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.47% or 0.40 to hit $84.87 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 1.35 to trade at $2,314.55 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.13% to 16,408.00, while AUD/IDR rose 0.10% to 10,933.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 105.68.
