Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.75%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA), which rose 1.78% or 0.08 points to trade at 4.76 at the close. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) added 1.60% or 0.08 points to end at 4.81 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 1.51% or 0.16 points to 10.74 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA), which lost 4.86% or 2.12 points to trade at 41.54 in late trade. Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) declined 2.10% or 0.25 points to end at 11.44 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) shed 1.78% or 0.17 points to 9.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 86 to 84 and 19 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for April delivery was up 0.18% or 0.14 to $76.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 0.25% or 0.18 to hit $72.91 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 5.49 to trade at $2,850.69 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.09% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.16% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 107.94.
