Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.67%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI), which rose 0.48% or 0.06 points to trade at 12.67 at the close. Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA) added 0.29% or 0.02 points to end at 5.45 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 0.24% or 0.03 points to 10.39 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kalmar Oyj (HE:KALMAR), which lost 3.69% or 1.32 points to trade at 34.31 in late trade. Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) declined 2.43% or 0.26 points to end at 10.63 and Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) shed 1.93% or 0.17 points to 8.62.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 110 to 61 and 18 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for May delivery was down 1.07% or 0.79 to $72.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 0.84% or 0.59 to hit $69.76 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.26% or 36.61 to trade at $2,859.29 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.03% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.18% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 107.29.
