Goldman Sachs is out with its near-term forex outlook
Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 1.61%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Hiab Oyj (HE:HIAB), which rose 7.77% or 3.00 points to trade at 41.62 at the close. KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) added 7.28% or 3.70 points to end at 54.50 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was up 3.23% or 0.51 points to 16.32 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV), which lost 1.16% or 0.10 points to trade at 8.17 in late trade. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 0.47% or 0.02 points to end at 3.37 and TietoEVRY Corp (HE:TIETO) gained 0.25% or 0.04 points to 15.78.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 94 to 74 and 21 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for July delivery was down 3.57% or 2.26 to $61.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 3.64% or 2.20 to hit $58.22 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.40% or 13.29 to trade at $3,320.31 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.31% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.16% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 99.27.
