Goldman Sachs is out with its near-term forex outlook
Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.97% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 4.21% or 0.40 points to trade at 9.85 at the close. Kalmar Oyj (HE:KALMAR) added 2.70% or 0.80 points to end at 30.46 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 2.48% or 0.22 points to 9.11 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which lost 1.06% or 0.11 points to trade at 10.23 in late trade. Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA) declined 0.76% or 0.04 points to end at 5.19 and Valmet Oyj (HE:VALMT) shed 0.42% or 0.12 points to 28.51.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 107 to 68 and 14 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for July delivery was down 0.78% or 0.51 to $65.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 0.76% or 0.47 to hit $61.67 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.49% or 48.11 to trade at $3,281.61 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.11% to 1.13, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 100.13.
