Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Utilities and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.80%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 10.34% or 0.82 points to trade at 8.77 at the close. Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) added 7.41% or 1.00 points to end at 14.57 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 2.20% or 0.18 points to 8.28 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB), which lost 2.14% or 0.44 points to trade at 20.12 in late trade. TietoEVRY Corp (HE:TIETO) declined 2.12% or 0.34 points to end at 15.72 and Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) shed 1.66% or 0.95 points to 56.30.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 92 to 86 and 11 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for July delivery was down 2.10% or 1.36 to $63.43 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 2.21% or 1.37 to hit $60.68 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.70% or 23.49 to trade at $3,324.21 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.19% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.16% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 98.95.
