Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Telecoms and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 1.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 5.84% or 1.48 points to trade at 26.84 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 2.37% or 0.14 points to end at 5.83 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) was up 2.27% or 0.79 points to 35.57 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMAS), which lost 6.28% or 2.71 points to trade at 40.41 in late trade. Metso Oyj (HE:MEO1V) declined 3.30% or 0.75 points to end at 21.95 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELI1V) shed 3.18% or 1.09 points to 33.23.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 102 to 69 and 17 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for June delivery was up 1.44% or 0.64 to $45.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 1.30% or 0.56 to hit $43.74 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.22% or 15.20 to trade at $1235.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.52% to 1.1229, while EUR/GBP fell 0.88% to 0.7812.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.52% at 95.11.
