Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.44%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which rose 1.65% or 1.35 points to trade at 83.25 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 1.08% or 3.2 points to end at 299.0 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 0.43% or 1.40 points to 327.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which lost 5.02% or 18.6 points to trade at 352.1 in late trade. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 1.94% or 4.7 points to end at 237.3 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 1.94% or 230 points to 11610.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 86 to 36 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.17% or 0.57 to $49.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.26% or 0.67 to hit $54.05 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 1.82 to trade at $1342.68 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 6.2376, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4397.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 92.11.
