Street Calls of the Week
Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Chemicals sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 2.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 10.00% or 40.90 points to trade at 449.80 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 3.92% or 17.40 points to end at 460.30 and NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) was up 3.10% or 16.50 points to 548.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which lost 0.76% or 95.00 points to trade at 12,485.00 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 0.73% or 90.00 points to end at 12,290.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) gained 0.10% or 0.10 points to 101.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 93 to 29 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $61.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.05% or 0.03 to hit $64.18 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.81% or 27.64 to trade at $3,366.86 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.13% to 6.55, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 98.92.
