Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.86%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 2.75% or 5.50 points to trade at 205.50 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 2.63% or 34.00 points to end at 1,328.50 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 2.40% or 16.40 points to 699.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which lost 1.31% or 4.40 points to trade at 330.30 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 0.18% or 0.20 points to end at 98.80 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) gained 0.20% or 1.60 points to 794.80.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 99 to 40 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.26% or 0.88 to $70.50 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.15% or 0.84 to hit $73.69 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.76% or 20.25 to trade at $2,633.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.06% to 7.15, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 107.75.
