Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.49%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 4.69% or 20.30 points to trade at 453.10 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 2.43% or 10.10 points to end at 424.40 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 1.81% or 24.50 points to 1,374.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which lost 2.54% or 2.20 points to trade at 86.00 in late trade. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 2.22% or 20.00 points to end at 880.60 and NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) shed 0.38% or 2.00 points to 524.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 78 to 56 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.76% or 1.09 to $60.96 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.73% or 1.12 to hit $63.67 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.70% or 23.56 to trade at $3,324.14 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 6.55, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 98.93.
