Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.82%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 11.22% or 1,275.00 points to trade at 12,635.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 10.39% or 1,170.00 points to end at 12,430.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 7.70% or 79.50 points to 1,112.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novozymes AS (CSE:NSISb), which lost 1.82% or 8.10 points to trade at 436.40 in late trade. Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) declined 1.10% or 1.80 points to end at 161.60 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) shed 0.68% or 2.90 points to 425.90.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 89 to 37 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.16% or 1.32 to $62.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.00% or 1.28 to hit $65.19 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 3.02% or 101.14 to trade at $3,242.86 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.18% to 6.71, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.24% at 101.41.
