Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which rose 1.86% or 2.90 points to trade at 158.40 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 1.39% or 8.00 points to end at 581.60 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.34% or 17.50 points to 1,321.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which lost 5.99% or 16.70 points to trade at 262.00 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 2.75% or 2.60 points to end at 92.60 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) shed 1.66% or 25.50 points to 1,510.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 64 to 60 and 27 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.40% or 0.30 to $75.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.38% or 0.30 to hit $78.99 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 11.11 to trade at $2,770.31 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 7.16, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 108.05.
