Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 1.80% or 13.40 points to trade at 758.80 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 0.40% or 3.60 points to end at 894.20 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 1,483.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which lost 3.84% or 15.10 points to trade at 378.50 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 3.32% or 3.50 points to end at 100.60 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) shed 2.61% or 78.00 points to 2,912.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 96 to 37 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.68% or 0.47 to $69.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.59% or 0.43 to hit $72.91 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 11.94 to trade at $2,654.54 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 7.12, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 107.00.
