Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.48%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 3.62% or 30.00 points to trade at 858.00 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 2.07% or 5.80 points to end at 286.20 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was up 1.81% or 50.00 points to 2,808.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which lost 1.87% or 7.90 points to trade at 414.50 in late trade. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 1.41% or 11.00 points to end at 769.60 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) shed 1.20% or 116.00 points to 9,582.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 67 to 66 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.53% or 0.36 to $68.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.23% or 0.16 to hit $71.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $2,524.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.46% to 6.76, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 101.58.
