Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Public Services, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which rose 1.71% or 200.0 points to trade at 11900.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) added 1.29% or 140.0 points to end at 10980.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 1.18% or 360.0 points to 30960.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which lost 2.08% or 1300.0 points to trade at 61100.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 1.49% or 140.0 points to end at 9260.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 1.25% or 8.0 points to 630.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 12 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.84% or 1.25 to $150.82 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 3.70% or 82.50 to hit $2146.50 , while the February Gold contract fell 0.63% or 7.60 to trade at $1204.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.41% to 2947.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.48% to 922.04.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.15% at 101.16.
