Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Public Services, Inversionist and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 2.06% or 130.0 points to trade at 6300.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 1.86% or 1100.0 points to end at 60100.0 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) was up 1.54% or 120.0 points to 7920.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Isagen SA (CN:ISG), which lost 2.88% or 90.0 points to trade at 3120.0 in late trade. Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) declined 2.00% or 110.0 points to end at 5400.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) shed 1.47% or 380.0 points to 25500.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 17 to 8 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 0.50% or 0.68 to $136.43 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 0.22% or 6.00 to hit $2794.50 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.72% or 8.70 to trade at $1194.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.24% to 2498.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.45% to 813.95.
The US Dollar Index was up 1.03% at 99.27.
