Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Public Services, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 2.63% or 50.0 points to trade at 1950.0 at the close. Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) added 0.75% or 280.0 points to end at 37800.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 0.44% or 120.0 points to 27300.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 3.23% or 420.0 points to trade at 12580.0 in late trade. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) declined 2.53% or 440.0 points to end at 16960.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) shed 1.48% or 360.0 points to 23940.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 13 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.09% or 0.12 to $135.75 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.15% or 4.50 to hit $3064.00 , while the June Gold contract rose 1.92% or 22.90 to trade at $1215.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.90% to 2379.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.40% to 783.76.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.00% at 93.75.
