FTSE 100 today: Index egdes higher, pound stays below $1.36
Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.65%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA), which rose 2.15% or 420.00 points to trade at 19,920.00 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) added 1.69% or 300.00 points to end at 18,000.00 and Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB) was up 1.54% or 45.00 points to 2,960.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bancolombia Pf (BVC:BIC_p1), which lost 3.82% or 1,700.00 points to trade at 42,800.00 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC) declined 1.44% or 180.00 points to end at 12,280.00 and Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) shed 1.23% or 90.00 points to 7,210.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.92% or 3.25 to $348.70 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 4.87% or 469.00 to hit $9,165.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 20.10 to trade at $3,342.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.05% to 4,130.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.05% to 729.05.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 99.28.
