Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.27% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which rose 8.81% or 1,020.00 points to trade at 12,600.00 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) added 7.71% or 570.00 points to end at 7,960.00 and Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) was up 7.27% or 630.00 points to 9,300.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC), which lost 2.45% or 980.00 points to trade at 39,000.00 in late trade. Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) declined 1.79% or 70.00 points to end at 3,830.00 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC:GAA_p) shed 1.30% or 6.00 points to 456.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 2.44% or 7.22 to $302.92 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 3.58% or 309.00 to hit $8,944.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.36% or 36.35 to trade at $2,711.25 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.67% to 4,419.60, while BRL/COP rose 0.91% to 761.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.50% at 107.46.
