Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 5.96% or 2.00 points to trade at 35.58 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 1.95% or 15.5 points to end at 808.5 and Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) was up 1.76% or 6.3 points to 363.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb), which lost 3.88% or 11.2 points to trade at 277.7 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS) declined 2.73% or 10.4 points to end at 370.7 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 2.60% or 5.3 points to 198.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 94 to 61 and 6 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 3.12% or 1.55 to $48.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.98% or 1.57 to hit $51.34 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.60% or 6.90 to trade at $1162.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.15% to 6.5595, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4611.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.16% at 94.78.
