Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Transport, Beverage and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Snep (CS:SNP), which rose 9.98% or 25.35 points to trade at 279.35 at the close. Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) added 7.90% or 9.80 points to end at 133.80 and Alliances (CS:ADI) was up 6.67% or 8 points to 128 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Agma Lahlou-Tazi (CS:AGMA), which lost 5.94% or 148 points to trade at 2342 in late trade. Oulmes (CS:OULM) declined 5.33% or 80 points to end at 1420 and CDM (CS:CDM) shed 3.46% or 18 points to 502.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 24 to 21 and 7 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.00% or 1.06 to $51.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.63% or 0.91 to hit $54.81 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.75 to trade at $1234.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.07% to 10.7320, while USD/MAD rose 0.36% to 10.0392.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 100.31.
