Investing.com – Greece equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Financials and Household sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General-Composite lost 0.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Athens General-Composite were Intracom Hold (AT:INRr), which rose 5.15% or 0.021 points to trade at 0.429 at the close. Hygeia (AT:HYGr) added 4.36% or 0.012 points to end at 0.287 and Korres (AT:KRRr) was up 3.75% or 0.130 points to 3.600 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Papoutsanis (AT:PSALr), which lost 6.97% or 0.014 points to trade at 0.187 in late trade. Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr) declined 2.94% or 0.0050 points to end at 0.1650 and Centric Hold (AT:DESr) shed 2.80% or 0.003 points to 0.104.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 59 to 34 and 16 ended unchanged on the Athens Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.29% or 3.70 to $1287.50 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 2.27% or 1.15 to hit $49.56 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract fell 2.04% or 1.08 to trade at $51.91 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.19% to 1.0697, while EUR/GBP rose 0.01% to 0.8367.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 99.84.
