Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Inversionist sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 2.34% or 560.0 points to trade at 24460.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) added 2.08% or 170.0 points to end at 8330.0 and Isagen SA (CN:ISG) was up 0.99% or 30.0 points to 3050.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which lost 3.91% or 250.0 points to trade at 6150.0 in late trade. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) declined 2.00% or 100.0 points to end at 4900.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) shed 1.89% or 500.0 points to 26000.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 8 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 1.57% or 2.20 to $137.90 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.51% or 14.00 to hit $2739.50 , while the April Gold contract fell 0.64% or 7.70 to trade at $1197.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.20% to 2556.00, while BRL/COP fell 2.01% to 788.40.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 97.61.
