Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (COP:DSV), which rose 1.22% or 2.9 points to trade at 241.1 at the close. William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) added 1.01% or 5.5 points to end at 551.5 and Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) was up 0.96% or 0.75 points to 78.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb), which lost 1.39% or 150 points to trade at 10660 in late trade. Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) declined 1.37% or 5.2 points to end at 375.3 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) shed 1.33% or 140 points to 10350.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 79 to 71 and 8 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.07% or 0.91 to $44.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.26% or 0.12 to hit $47.48 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.42% or 4.60 to trade at $1103.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.39% to 6.6186, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4614.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.40% at 95.77.
