Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 2.28% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 11.22% or 83.5 points to trade at 827.5 at the close. Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) added 3.10% or 11.4 points to end at 379.5 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 2.57% or 3.3 points to 131.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 0.48% or 4.0 points to trade at 838.0 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 0.66% or 1.60 points to end at 245.20 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) gained 0.78% or 1.0 points to 129.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 120 to 38 and 6 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.37% or 0.99 to $40.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.81% or 0.81 to hit $43.76 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.51% or 16.40 to trade at $1067.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.41% to 7.0111, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4614.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.27% at 99.74.
