On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for September delivery traded at USD3.845 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 3.26%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD3.837 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.837 and resistance at USD4.020.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.10% to trade at USD81.65.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for September delivery rose 0.01% to trade at USD97.36 a barrel while Heating oil for September delivery rose 1.34% to trade at USD2.8832 per gallon.
