Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 2.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 0.83% or 100.0 points to trade at 12100.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 0.63% or 400.0 points to end at 63000.0 and Isagen SA (CN:ISG) was down 0.15% or 5.0 points to 3265.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 3.46% or 250.0 points to trade at 6970.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 3.38% or 70.0 points to end at 2000.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) shed 3.15% or 820.0 points to 25180.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 26 to 4 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 1.54% or 2.00 to $131.68 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.03% or 1.00 to hit $2929.50 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.62% or 7.40 to trade at $1182.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.55% to 2373.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.92% to 784.51.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.58% at 94.74.
