Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Public Services, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 1.17% or 140.0 points to trade at 12080.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) added 1.04% or 90.0 points to end at 8780.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 0.95% or 160.0 points to 16980.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Isagen SA (CN:ISG), which lost 9.39% or 315.0 points to trade at 3040.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 3.00% or 105.0 points to end at 3390.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) shed 2.94% or 190.0 points to 6280.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 15 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 1.11% or 1.52 to $138.82 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.41% or 43.50 to hit $3137.50 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.07% or 0.80 to trade at $1224.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.32% to 2416.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.30% to 806.39.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.09% at 93.32.
