On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD95.66 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.08%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD95.73 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD95.26 and resistance at USD98.58.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.03% to trade at USD81.66.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for October delivery rose 0.39% to trade at USD102.53 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.87 a barrel.
