Investing.com - Australian approvals to build new homes rose unexpectedly last week, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, Australian Bureau of Statistics said that Australian Building Approvals rose to a seasonally adjusted 3.0%, from 2.1% in the prior week whose figure was revised down from 2.5%.
Analysts had expected Australian Building Approvals to fall to 1.0% last week.
